Hi all! I am a big runner and have always just used an old school watch to track total run time. I’m looking at jumping into the smart watch world so I can start tracking my pace throughout my runs (and also hopefully use it with my PWR and BBG workouts). Does anyone have a watch they love that tracks their pace WITHOUT having to carry your phone on the run with you? Looking at the Garmin Vivoactive 3 (liked the fitbit charge 3 look but you still have to run with your phone to get the pace 🙄). Thanks in advance!

My Garmin 220 is old in tech world. Its 5 or 6 years old but it has never failed me! My son also has a garmin vivo fit jr and its 1.5 years old and still going great. I wont wont go any other way! My brother just upgraded to a different garmin and my sister in law has a garmin that looks prettier and I think she gets texts on it. I also have a Samsung gear s2 that i love but it's a rose gold that i do like, and they have them in sports watches. But garmin for the GPS and accurate pace info, elevation etc.

Ended up going with the Garmin Vivoactive 3 with music, thanks for all of your input ladies! Ultimately the Garmin had more running-centered abilities that I loved but it also can connect to my headphones and show text updates. Not sure I’ll be able to use it to see the actual PWR moves but that wasn’t my main reason for wanting one! Thanks so much! Hope you guys all get in a great workout today!

The favorite smart running watch for me is Fitbit Versa and Ionic. The only disadvantage I'm using it is that the Spotify for Fitbit app is not available now with my premium account. I can't access to Spotify music on Fitbit watch directly.
To do this, I need to download AudFree Spotify Music Converter from https://www.audfree.com and copy Spotify music to Fitbit compatible audio files and transfer them to Fitbit watch via Fitbit Connect app. Of course, fortunately, it supports downloading local files to it for playback.

I have a Garmin 735XT. The thing that sold me on it was the long battery life. (Up to 20-24 hours in ultra GPS mode.) but just day to day use it will last me 3-7 days without a charge depending how much I’m using it. It also has Bluetooth so I can upload my runs right to my phone when I’m done, and texts and calls show up on my watch face when I carry my phone.

The best running smartwatch as for me is the Fitbit Versa as I'm a fitness woman. One of the important points I'd like to choose Fitbit is that it's compatible with Spotify music service.
Based on this, I can listen to my favorite songs when running outside via the Fitbit watch. Before this feature comes, I used to use DRmare Spotify Music Converter to download Spotify music and upload Spotify songs to Fitbit watch for playback. It's too complicate.
